Marcus "Marc" Anthony Braziel, a dedicated community leader and cherished family man, passed away unexpectedly on March 13th, 2026, at the age of 56. Born on July 10, 1970, in Houston, Texas, Marc's life was defined by his commitment to service, his passion for mentoring youth, and his unwavering love for his family.

Marc dedicated his professional life to public service, working for the city's Parks and Recreation Department for over 30 years. There, he developed programs that enriched the lives of countless children and families. An avid sports enthusiast, Marc coached little league baseball for many years, instilling in his players the values of teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.

Marc is survived by his loving wife, his three children, and a host of grandchildren, who will forever cherish his memory and continue to uphold his legacy of service and community involvement. A memorial service celebrating Marc's life will be held on March 19th, 2026, at the Bradshaw-Carter Funeral Home in Houston, where friends and family will gather to honor a life well-lived and a man deeply admired.
