Stephen Michael Borges, age 58, of Cary, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2026.

Born on May 28, 1968, in Fall River, Massachusetts, Stephen spent most of his life in the city he proudly called home before later relocating to North Carolina. He was the youngest of five children born to the late Fernando and Geraldine Borges.

Stephen will be remembered for his generous heart, infectious sense of humor, and remarkable ability to make everyone around him smile. Whether through his spot-on impersonations, witty jokes, or playful personality, he had a gift for bringing laughter and light into the lives of those who knew him. His warmth, kindness, and compassion left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

My brother in Christ was a true and blue kind of brother to me. He always spoke something with great insight and love to me, as his sister. He was the kind of person who would always be there for any of us in the household of Christ and outside. He loved everyone, like Jesus does.
