Ashlynne Ann Hunt

Ashlynne Ann Hunt, born July 13, 2018, in Lenoir, North Carolina, passed away on October 4, 2026. She lived in Lenoir and was a third-grade student at Gamewell Elementary School. Though her time here was far too short, she will be remembered with deep love and tenderness by those who knew her.

Ashlynne found joy in simple, meaningful moments. She loved playing with her brother, coloring, swimming, and reading. These small parts of her life reflected a young child who was curious, playful, and happiest in the comfort of familiar routines and the people she loved. Her presence brought light to those around her, and the memories she leaves behind will be held close.

She is survived by her mother, Jessica Williams; her father, Charles Philyaw; her brother, Jace Hunt; and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Edith Philyaw; her maternal grandmother, Donna Webb; and her maternal grandfather, Bud Pierce. Her family will always carry the love they shared and the moments they were given.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time. Plans are being made for cremation and a celebration of life, with details to be announced later.
