David was the biological father of Brian Richter (Marlene), Craig Richter (Betsy Margolin), and Staci (Richter) Greenberg (Robert). He was also the grandfather of Aaron, Kyle, Matthew, Alex, Ethan, and Logan.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Bruce Richter (Edith) and Harvey Richter (Karen), both deceased, and his sister, Nancy Taubman (Sheldon), both deceased. David is survived by his biological sons and daughter, nephews and nieces, Barry Richter, Michael Richter, Carol Pegoraro (Richter), Randall Taubman, and Pam Gardiner (Taubman).
