DeeAnn Violet Bean Purser's Obituary

Our beautiful and most loving mother and sister, DeeAnn Violet Bean Purser, 59, left behind her earthly burdens, danced across the eclipse of the moon, and slipped peacefully beyond the veil due to a hemorrhagic stroke on March 2, 2026, in Murray Utah.

DeeAnn was born October 4,1966, in Logan, Utah, to Richard Bruce Bean and Shanna Laurel Peterson Bean. She was their fourth child, the baby of the family and named after her grandmother, Violet Peterson.

Her family eventually moved to Ephraim, Utah, where she was blessed with lifelong friends. She participated in piano, dance, drill team, music, year-round outdoor activities and graduated from Manti High School in 1984. She later attended Snow College, Utah State University, became a certified esthetician and CNA, and owned several businesses.

From a young age, those around DeeAnn felt there was something special about her. She had a joyful, silly personality and a laugh that filled a room. She was unapologetically herself, and that authenticity is something her daughters deeply admired.

On June 28, 1985, DeeAnn married Roger Purser in Logan, Utah, and was later sealed on September 6, 1986, in the Logan LDS Temple (later divorced). Together they enjoyed outdoor adventures and built homes and businesses, but most importantly shared the blessing of raising four beautiful daughters.

DeeAnn had a gift for bringing magic into everyday life. Holidays were her specialty-she decorated with so much love and creativity that every celebration felt exciting and memorable. She loved antiques and unique collectibles; she had a special talent for turning any home into a warm, beautiful showplace, worthy of any home décor magazine.

Dee had an incredibly compassionate heart. She loved animals of all kinds but especially loved and adored her many dogs and cats throughout the years; they were her fur babies. She also spent many years as a home health care provider where she connected and cared deeply for others, especially senior citizens and those who couldn’t care for themselves.

DeeAnn loved to travel, especially to Italy and Paris and had a special connection with those in her life who were of Hispanic heritage. She basked in the beauty of their cultures and of God’s creations that she surrounded herself with. Her faith in God guided her, and even through difficult times she remained hopeful, often saying, “it’s going to be okay; everything will work out.” Her kindness, laughter and unconditional love brought so much light into the world.

More than anything in this world, her four daughters were DeeAnn’s greatest pride and joy. They were the center of her life and her entire world. She loved them fiercely and unconditionally and would have done anything for them. She was a deeply loving, and selfless mother who always put her girls first and made sure they felt safe, supported and loved. Being their mother was the role she cherished most, and the bond she shared with her daughters will live on in their hearts forever.

DeeAnn is survived by her daughters; Shantel Purser, Celeste Purser, Shakera Purser and Shania Purser; sisters Sharalee (Lynn) Willardson and Jana Sue (Brent) Belliston; her brothers Reid (Nina) Bean and Nathan (Emily) Anderson; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her grandparents Cloye and Violet Peterson and Willis and Natalie Bean.

A Celebration of Life will be held March 21st at 1:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 2976 W 1390 N, Provo, UT 84601

interment services will be held at a later date, at the Price City Cemetery in Price, Utah.

The family appreciates your love and support. In lieu of flowers, donations to help with the funeral expenses would be deeply appreciated. Venmo@Shakera-Purser
