Nancy was born as the second-born daughter to the late Sammy Musau Mutunga and Christine Mbula.
Completed her primary schooling at Yatwa Primary School (1983–1990) and secondary education at Mbooni Girls High School (1991–1994).
1995–1998 — Aviation Training & Career Entry: Joined as a Communications pre-service trainee in February 1996 and graduated from the East African School of Aviation (EASA) in November 1998 with professional certification in Aeronautical Communications, receiving her first posting at JKIA.
Married Florian Maangi Ndolo at Gospel Outreach Church Nairobi, raising three children—Joel, Prudence, and Trevis—and later adopting Dennis.
Specialized into Aeronautical Information Management (AIM), serving key stations including JKIA, Wilson Airport, and Lokichogio Airport.
Furthered her academic qualifications at the University of Nairobi, earning both a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master's degree.
Promoted to Senior Officer in AIM, serving as an AIM Operations Supervisor, staff wellness champion, and Vice President of the professional association (AIMAK).
Appointed as Chief in charge of AIM Operations and Training, leading operational excellence and training until her passing.
Fought a brave, long battle with illness before drawing her final breath on September 27, 2026, at Nairobi South Hospital.
