Richard Martin Livingston Sr.

Richard Martin Livingston Sr. was born on June 12, 1956 in Florence, South Carolina. Richard passed away peacefully at home in Apopka, FL on October 22, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, hard work, and dedication that touched all who knew him.

Richard was the beloved son of Martin and Susan Livingston. He is preceded in death by his cherished parents and his brother, Frederick Livingston, with whom he shared a deep bond. Richard's life was filled with the love of his family, including his devoted wife of 32 years, Kathleen Livingston, who walked beside him through all of life’s seasons; his son, Richard Livingston Jr., and his wife Sarah; and six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Each of these children was a shining light in his life, and he took great joy in their laughter and achievements.

For 43 years, Richard diligently worked as a welder, a career that he took great pride in. His craftsmanship and dedication were evident in all of his work, leaving a lasting mark on the industry and on those he mentored. Beyond his professional life, Richard was an active member of the Kiwanis Club, where he devoted his time to serving the community and making a positive impact on the lives of many.

Richard found solace and joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid fisherman, often spending serene mornings by the water, and he took great pride in tending to his lush vegetable garden. His garden was not only a source of nourishment but also a testament to his patience and nurturing spirit.

The family will honor Richard's life in a private ceremony, cherishing their memories and celebrating the profound impact he had on each of them. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Richard's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN, EIN: 62-0646012.
