Vicki Birthday! Carter

Vicki Carter (née Zimmerman), born on July 22, 1948, in Phoenix, Arizona, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2026, in her hometown of Phoenix. She was 78 years old.

Vicki dedicated much of her professional life to serving the state of Arizona as an administrative assistant for Rose Mofford, who went on to become Arizona's first female governor. Her work reflected her commitment to supporting her community and contributing to the state's history during a pivotal time.

Outside of her career, Vicki found joy in creative pursuits, her friends and music. She enjoyed crafting and spent many hours expressing her artistic talents through various projects. A gifted pianist, she delighted in playing the piano, filling her home with music that brought comfort and happiness to those around her.

Vicki will be remembered by her daughters, Kimber and Louree, as well as her grandchildren, Callie, Matt, and Jordan.

In accordance with Vicki's wishes, her ashes will be spread among the trees in Northern Arizona—a place that held special meaning for her.
